Discussions on current world events, whether they made it to your local newspaper, or not. If you want to read an actual news site, we recommend The Guardian (for actual news), Stuff.co.nz (for world news and New Zealand news—often the local news is kind of hilarious, like debate over the success of a road cone hotline, or a very low-level recount of a guy whose foot got run over), and The Onion (who tells it like it is). We’re also huge fans of Jon Stewart (he literally wrote the book on the US Constitution, plus he’s hilarious).
